90% (9 of 10 student nurses) agreed that the medical doctors are now recommended herbal medicine approved by the DOH to cure diseases while 10% (1 in 10 student nurse) said he did not believe in it. Nowadays, doctors came to introduce the new concept of almost every corner of our country. Of course, modern medicine is a remarkable compared to the use of herbs. After all, without the herbal drug, it is uncomparable to an anti-biotics, vaccines, prevention, inflammation, and identifying drug anyway. As modern medicine it may be available at a price cheaper, the popularity of herbal medicine is denied too and facing extinction.
60% of respondents (6 of 10 student nurses)believe that herbal is better than genetic or even branded drugs. Still prefer 40% (4 of 10 student nurses) to use the branded drug.
For most herbs, the specific ingredient that causes a medicinal effect is not known. The whole herb contains many components, and it is likely to work together to produce the desired medicinal effect. Many factors would affect how effective the medicines.
